Anonymous cell phone sales would be prohibited

This bill would eliminate the sales of anonymous pre-paid mobile phones by requiring purchasers to provide identification. This purchaser's name, home address, and date of birth would be stored with the phone's wireless carrier.

Only authorized sellers would be allowed to sell these phones or SIM cards.
